Bigger campaign saves

Normally your plan includes a fixed campaign-save allowance. Attach a Bag of Holding in campaign saves mode and your save space works differently:

  • Your total save space becomes your plan's allowance plus the Bag's full size.
  • Saves are counted by size, not slots. A 200 MB Valheim world and a 30 GB modded Minecraft world use very different amounts. With a Bag, you keep as many campaigns as physically fit.
  • The space is account-wide: one Bag covers all your game servers and every game you play.

How to set it up

  1. Buy a Bag from Dashboard → Bag of Holding (1 TB at $6/mo holds a lot of worlds).
  2. Click Attach to a serviceGame - campaign saves. No server or path needed. It applies to your whole account.
  3. Your game server pages now show Campaign Save Storage as used / total GB.

Where do saves actually go?

Your plan's own allowance fills first, on our backup storage. Once it's used up, new saves are stored on your Bag - that's the expansion part. You don't have to think about it; resuming works the same either way.

FAQ

Do my existing saves move? No, saves stay where they are. The Bag simply raises your limit going forward.

What happens if I detach the Bag? Saves that live on the Bag must be resumed or deleted first - we'll refuse the detach while any remain, so you can't lose a world by accident. Saves within your plan's allowance are unaffected. After detaching, your limit shrinks back to your plan's allowance.

Can one Bag also serve my website? Yes, capacity is shared across attachments. Just remember the total is one pool: a Bag that's full of website media has less room left in your save budget.
