Connection Issues - Troubleshooting

Step 1: Verify Server is Running

Check your dashboard. Is the server showing as Online? If it's stopped or errored, start it first.

Step 2: Check IP and Port

Make sure you're using the correct IP address and port from your dashboard. The format is usually IP:PORT (e.g., 1.2.3.4:25565).

Step 3: Check Your Network

  • Can you reach other servers/websites?
  • Are you behind a restrictive firewall or VPN?
  • Try from a different network or device
  • Step 4: Check Server Password

If the server is password-protected, make sure you're entering the correct password.

    Step 5: Game Version

Ensure your game client version matches the server version. Mismatched versions cause connection failures.

    Step 6: Whitelist

If the server uses a whitelist, make sure your username/player ID is added.

    Step 7: DNS Propagation

If using a custom domain, DNS changes can take up to 48 hours. Try connecting with the IP address directly.

    Still Can't Connect?

Contact support and include your server ID, the error message you see, and your IP address.
