Custom Domains & DNS

Adding a Custom Domain

  • Go to your site settings and click Domains
  • Enter your domain name (e.g., example.com)
  • Follow the DNS instructions to point your domain to NoobHost
  • DNS Configuration

    You have two options:

    Option A: Use NoobHost Nameservers

    Point your domain's nameservers to:

  • ns1.noobhost.com
  • ns2.noobhost.com
  • We'll manage all DNS records for you automatically.

    Option B: External DNS

Add the following records at your DNS provider:

  • A record → Your site's IP address
  • AAAA record → Your site's IPv6 address (if available)
  • CNAME for www → Your site's hostname
  • SSL Certificates

SSL is provisioned automatically for all custom domains. Certificate renewal is handled by our system-no action needed on your part.

    Subdomains

You can add subdomains (e.g., blog.example.com) from the same domain settings page. Each subdomain gets its own SSL certificate.
