Custom Domains & DNS

Adding a Custom Domain

  1. Go to your site settings and click Domains
  2. Enter your domain name (e.g., example.com)
  3. Follow the DNS instructions to point your domain to NoobHost

DNS Configuration

You have two options:

Option A: Use NoobHost Nameservers

Point your domain's nameservers to:

  • ns1.noobhost.com
  • ns2.noobhost.com

We'll manage all DNS records for you automatically.

Option B: External DNS

Add the following records at your DNS provider:

  • A record → Your site's IP address
  • AAAA record → Your site's IPv6 address (if available)
  • CNAME for www → Your site's hostname

SSL Certificates

SSL is provisioned automatically for all custom domains. Certificate renewal is handled by our system-no action needed on your part.

Subdomains

You can add subdomains (e.g., blog.example.com) from the same domain settings page. Each subdomain gets its own SSL certificate.
