Built-In Protection

Every NoobHost service includes DDoS mitigation at no additional cost. Protection is always active - there's nothing you need to configure.

Protection Layers

Layer 3/4 (Network)

  • Volume-based attack mitigation (UDP floods, SYN floods)
  • Traffic scrubbing and filtering
  • Automatic null-routing of attack traffic

    • Layer 7 (Application)

  • HTTP flood protection
  • Rate limiting per IP
  • Bot detection and challenge pages
  • Request filtering

    • Game Server Protection

    Game servers receive specialized UDP flood protection designed for gaming traffic. This protects against:

  • UDP reflection attacks
  • Query floods
  • Connection exhaustion attacks

    • Monitoring

    DDoS attacks are detected and mitigated automatically. You can view attack logs and mitigation statistics from your dashboard.

    During an Attack

    If your service is targeted:

  • Protection activates automatically
  • Legitimate traffic continues flowing
  • You'll receive a notification
  • Attack details appear in your dashboard
