Enabling Private Networking

There are two sides: your server and your device (your computer).

1. Enable it on your server

  1. Open your dashboard and go to Private Networking.
  2. Find the server you want to reach and click Add to network.
  3. That's it — we install and connect everything on the server side automatically. It'll show as Setting up… and then Connected with a private address.

2. Connect your computer with the NoobHost Agent

  1. Open the NoobHost Agent and sign in.
  2. Go to the Private Networking tab and click Install & Connect.
  3. Windows will show a User Account Control (UAC) prompt — this is expected. It's the official, signed Tailscale installer. Click Yes.
  4. The agent installs Tailscale and connects you. When it's done you'll see Connected and a list of your reachable servers.
You only do the UAC step once. After that, the agent reconnects automatically.

What if I'm not on Windows?

The one-click Agent setup is Windows-only for now (macOS and Linux are coming). On other platforms you can still connect with the standard Tailscale client — your dashboard shows the exact command to run.
