Server Configuration

Using the Config Editor

Most game-specific settings can be edited through the control panel's file manager:

  • Open your server in the control panel
  • Go to Files
  • Find and edit the relevant config file (e.g., server.properties for Minecraft)
  • Save and restart your server
  • Common Settings

  • Player Slots - Maximum concurrent players (set during campaign creation)
  • Server Name - The name shown in server browsers
  • Password - Protect your server with a join password
  • Difficulty - Adjust game difficulty settings
  • World Seed - Set a specific world generation seed
  • Whitelist - Restrict who can join your server
  • Performance Tuning

  • View Distance - Lower values reduce server load
  • Tick Rate - Higher values = smoother gameplay but more CPU
  • Entity Limits - Cap spawned entities to prevent lag
  • Chunk Loading - Limit the number of loaded chunks
  • Startup Parameters

Advanced users can customize startup flags from the Startup tab in the control panel. This includes:

  • Memory allocation
  • JVM flags (Java games)
  • Custom launch arguments
  • Version selection
