How Backups Work

Automated Backups

NoobHost performs automated backups for all services:

  • Daily - Full backup every 24 hours
  • Weekly - Retained for 4 weeks
  • Monthly - Retained for 3 months

  • Server files and configurations
  • Databases
  • Game world saves
  • Application code and assets
  • SSL certificates and domain configurations

    • Encryption

    All backups are encrypted with AES-256 before storage. Backups are stored in a geographically separate location from your primary server.

    Backup Storage

    Backups don't count against your plan's storage quota. They're stored on dedicated backup infrastructure.

    Backup Notifications

    You'll receive notifications if a backup fails. Successful backups are logged silently to avoid notification fatigue.
