In addition to system backups, game servers have their own auto-save mechanism. Save intervals vary by game but typically happen every 5-15 minutes.

On-Demand Backups

You can create a manual backup at any time from your dashboard. This is recommended before:

• Installing new mods or plugins
• Making major configuration changes
• Performing server updates

Backup Storage

Backups are stored on separate infrastructure from your server. They're encrypted with AES-256 and stored in a different data center region.
