Palworld Server Setup Guide

Setup

  • Deploy a game server and select Palworld
  • Pro tier or higher recommended
  • Configure server name and max players

    • Configuration

    Edit PalWorldSettings.ini:

  • ServerPlayerMaxNum - Maximum players (up to 32)
  • ServerName - Server name in browser
  • ServerPassword - Optional join password
  • EnemyDropItemRate - Item drop rate multiplier
  • PalCaptureRate - Capture chance multiplier
  • ExpRate - Experience gain multiplier

    • Saving

  • Auto-save runs every 5 minutes by default
  • Manual saves via the console: Save
  • Backups are taken daily by NoobHost

    • Performance Tips

  • Lower ViewDistance in server settings for better performance
  • Set bIsMultiplay to true for dedicated server mode
  • Monitor RAM usage - Palworld can be memory-intensive

    • Connecting

    Use the server browser in Palworld or direct connect with your IP:port.
