Palworld Server Setup Guide

Setup

  1. Deploy a game server and select Palworld
  2. Pro tier or higher recommended
  3. Configure server name and max players

Configuration

Built-in configuration - You set this up when you start the campaign and can edit it in the Settings tab of the game panel:

  • Max Players - Maximum players (up to 32)
  • Server Name - Server name in browser
  • Server Password - Optional join password
  • Admin Password - For in-game server administration
  • Enable Raid Events - Allow base raids or disable them

Other settings can be changed by manually editing PalWorldSettings.ini

Saving

  • Auto-save runs every 5 minutes by default
  • Manual saves via the console: Save
  • Backups are taken daily by NoobHost

Performance Tips

  • Lower ViewDistance in server settings for better performance
  • Set bIsMultiplay to true for dedicated server mode
  • Monitor RAM usage - Palworld can be memory-intensive

Connecting

Use the server browser in Palworld or direct connect with your IP:port.
