Satisfactory Server Guide

Setup

Deploy a game server and select Satisfactory

Pro tier recommended (resource intensive)

Initial setup is done through the in-game server manager

First-Time Configuration

After deployment:

Connect to your server using the server IP and port

Use the Server Manager within the game to:

- Set server name

- Set admin password

- Create a new game or upload an existing save

Save Management

Auto-saves happen regularly

You can upload existing saves via SFTP

Back up saves before major updates

Performance

Satisfactory servers become more demanding as your factory grows:

Large factories benefit from higher-tier plans

Monitor CPU and RAM usage in your dashboard

Consider upgrading if you experience lag with large bases

Multiplayer

Up to 4 players are supported in multiplayer. All players connect using the server's IP address and query port.
