Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Why Use 2FA?

Two-factor authentication adds a second verification step when logging in. Even if someone knows your password, they can't access your account without the second factor.

Setting Up 2FA

  • Go to your Account Settings
  • Navigate to Security
  • Click Enable 2FA
  • Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  • Enter the verification code to confirm
  • Supported Methods

  • TOTP Authenticator Apps - Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password
  • These generate time-based one-time passwords that change every 30 seconds
  • Recovery Codes

When you enable 2FA, you'll receive recovery codes. Save these in a safe place. If you lose access to your authenticator app, recovery codes are the only way to regain access.

    Disabling 2FA

You can disable 2FA from your security settings. You'll need to enter a current 2FA code to confirm.
