V Rising Server Guide

Setup

  • Deploy a game server and select V Rising
  • Basic tier or higher
  • Configure server name and game mode

    • Game Settings

    Edit ServerGameSettings.json:

  • GameModeType - PvP or PvE
  • ClanSize - Maximum clan members
  • CastleLimitType - Castle building limits
  • PlayerInteractionSettings - PvP hours, raid windows

    • Server Settings

    Edit ServerHostSettings.json:

  • Name - Server display name
  • MaxConnectedUsers - Max players
  • ServerFps - Target FPS (30 recommended)
  • Password - Optional join password

    • Connecting

    Players find your server in the V Rising server browser or connect directly with your server IP.

    Wipe / Reset

    To wipe a server for a fresh start, delete the save files from the save-data directory and restart.
