Vein Server Setup Guide

Setup

  • Deploy a game server and select Vein
  • Starter tier works for small groups
  • Configure server name and max players

    • Configuration

    Configure your server settings through the config files in the server directory. Key settings include:

  • Server name and description
  • Maximum player count
  • World settings
  • Join password

    • Connecting

    Players connect via direct IP using your server address and port number.

    Save Management

  • Auto-saves are configured by default
  • Back up your world via SFTP before major changes
  • World files are stored in the save directory

    • Updates

    The server updates automatically when a new version is available. Restart your server to apply updates.
